Her relatives were very sure that it would be definitely a YES and started celebrating.

Her family was still waiting in a tension state of mind to know about his final decision.

He was deliberately making his wise decision in choosing his life partner.

But, she had already started dreaming a life with him consciously; just by knowing the free flowing love in his family, which she always craved for.

      3. Sumit.. That image says rest of the 50% story. And, I have chosen that image intentionally, since that’s the beauty of South Indian bride and arranged marriage.

      1. ha ha ha… its not about the stage of life! personally I think making a decision with which you should live for the rest of the life needs a lot of consideration, interest, energy and focus to be put into it and ofcrse also time. And I personally feel that people should know each other well enough to see the compatibility. you cannot know about a person in few hrs, i get it but that doesnt mean you can give up on it. you just have to find ways to know a person till you find the compatibility. If i were the guy, I would not just think so much but also would meet the lady more and talk more to her and make an informed decision. and i would like the lady to show the similar interest too while choosing her partner, that will be my turn on. btw, I am a gal and I still think in the same lines too.. if it comes to me about choosing my partner, i would do the same. 🙂

      2. You sound like a guy here and i like you for that. Yes ! I too believe in pre-talking now after seeing some one sided affection after marriage. And proper decision must be made before a life time commitment, which should include about both families too because I believe marriage is a bonding of two families and not only stays between two..
        A guy must think whether she is suitable for his growth and family… So guy’s decision is always important..
        And a girl seeks for and need to feel secure.. apart from love.. And that guarantees her only she meets him and personally see about how he treat or see her in their first meet..
        Uff ! I too wrote an essay 😄😄😄

        well.. i agree with all that you said… “guy’s decision is always important” – and so is gal’s! and yeah… about the first meet.. I am not sure there though..

        anyways.. concept of arranged marriages is complicated in its own way!

        but divorces are not welcome in any corner of the world is what we all know. so, yeah! the decision shouldn’t be made for the wrong reasons… after all, we all wanna end up happy 🙂

        Yeah ! No one should think of and find a way to end any relationship.. They must be discussed and solved without ego and with understanding.. Yes ! Girl’s decision is must in terms of her capability of handling an entire family. She thinks his family as her and must be ready to dedicate.

        Lol.. Kacy how much we are discussing on this topic. Though I’m interested to know more and more and talk.. But future is always scary to me whenever I think.. Who doesn’t have dreams.. But expectations must not be our life.. That will kill our today’s peace..!

      5. expectations are like craving for a chocolate cake. no matter what a woman claims, she will always have them just like she craves for the chocolate cake. all i can say is, you are not alone there 🙂
        and yup, future is scary .. but if we take a close look at it, we always experience future as present. tomorrow is today’s future but it is tomorrow’s present. just tell yourself that you can always handle the present with the power of now and you might find it soothing. hugs 🙂

  6. omg! thats a huge answer! anyways, opinions vary 🙂 this was just a personal opinion…

    I personally think that the reasons for any relationship should be deep and not just logic or convenience. and that both the people should feel the depth of the bond.

    the guy here, if he talks to the gal more and knows her more, may be he will feel the bond i am talking about!

    and if the gal has a heart of gold( like you 😉 ) and if he truly deserves it… he will know 🙂

    1. Yes ! And whatever the case, once made decision should not be regretted later.. Because no one can guarantee a pre- planned future too. Time keeps changing.. But love must stay forever.. Connection must be deep. Rightly said.
