Broken Sleep..!

#MiracleChallenge : Week – 3

Challenge No : 5
A Short Tale in 5 sentences using prompt image

This is my second #MiracleChallenge entry for this week. Hope you all enjoy reading my very short story 🙂

While reading a book, I had fallen asleep by hugging the book to my chest. I had realized it by opening my tired eyes half; when our Huge Clock struck 12.00 AM, with a background music, which can be heard from ground floor to my corner most room of first floor. In no time, I felt my heartbeat rising hearing to a song “Lonely. I’m Mr. Lonely. I have Nobody for my Own….”; which was coming from nearby my bed.

The night lamp near my bed was already lit as I had not turned it off before sleep; thus helped me to view my now horrific room with random ghostly thoughts. When the song again started after 5 minutes break, I gained back my memory about choosing this ringtone in my smartphone few hours back as an alarm tone for 12.00 AM today; in order to get up and catch my 2.00 AM flight.

Thank you reading. Hope you like it. Your comments are most appreciable 😀
